KenneBunkFunk
Scott and I are camped out on a bridge, we thought it was abandoned but a bullet train just flew by. It was awesome!
The day started off with homemade oatmeal and then a few jumps on the trampoline. Luckily the oatmeal stayed in my stomach during the jumpathon, I love trampolines! After boucing around like a little kid it was time to ride.
We said goodbye to our amazing hosts Larry and Diane and headed down a small country road. I couldn’t help but let out a few screams of joy, yeehaa! The temperature was pleasant and the scenery amazing, small winding roads, lined by old victorian houses with huge green yards.
We rode through Concord beach, which looks to be hopping in the summer but was a ghost town today. The sound of the ocean was refreshing, i ran to it and gave it a high five. The sea always gets this landlocked boy excited.
Everyone we meet is helpful, they steer us right, tell us where to eat and grace us with their colorful accents. Who said all easterners are sour?
We are now in KenneBunk, hanging out on Bush’s turf. I can see why they have a house here, it is beautiful and seems to be very far from terrorists. They are not in town right now, otherwise I’m sure they’d let us camp in their backyard. Instead, we are camped on an old bridge. Stars above, air is cool, legs are tired. Goodnight.
(Yes, I have internet in my tent, it is way cool, all tents should be as nice as mine)

Just read your article in the Daily Camera today. It turns out that Kevin and I were in Portland the same day as you! We took Amtrak up from Boston on Sunday night and left Portland Monday afternoon. We had lunch at an Irish Pup down by the Wharf in the old historic area. Have a great time on your trip. Best wishes from Byrt’s Mom
