Charleston with Billy
Hi there, we rode 105 miles today to Charleston. Beautiful day, sunny skies, roads lined with trees and a great lunch. What was for lunch you ask? Well, I added a chocolate chip Cliff Bar to my peanut butter tortilla mix and it was amazing! I’ll never go back to just plain PB and J. The simple things in life put a smile on my face.
This will be our first night sleeping on a boat. My great friend Billy lives out here on his little yacht and has offered us his place for a couple nights. I will be happily rocked to sleep, to the rhythm of the ocean. I love the south!
I want a full and unsensored report when this little stop is over…

Your Grandma Ruth sent me an email about your trip North to South. I grew up in NC near Wilmington. It made me home sick when I read about your trip through NC. I have a little place at Ocean Isle Beach (southeastern corner of NC) but I live in Keene. I love NH and NC! I know your Grandma by way of your Grandfather, he worked with me at the Bank. They were a great couple.
If you are ever in the Ocean Isle Beach area again you can camp in my yard or if I am there you can stay in my home. Just let your Grandma know and I will give her my address.

Hi! Nice to meet you guys, we have viewed your videos and blogs.We think its great to have the opportunity to do what you do! Its not everyday that we meet people like you.We are just a small town family trying to make it in life.We are sending you a “smoke signal” that Evan is camping in our back yard!We are in Midway, Georgia.He will probably be gone when we get up,but I would like for him to know that it was very nice and interesting to meet him, and how random it was for him to show up on our doorstep!
